Asian women have always been on the cutting edge of new beauty products, and their beautiful milky skin shows it!
Asian women have been using rice water to keep their face, body and hair beautiful for centuries, bathing in the water that was left after the fresh picked rice had been cleaned. It is this reason we have chosen to use rice and fermented rice water in our three newest products.
Rice water has a cooling and soothing effect on the skin and has long been prescribed by ayurvedic practitioners for inflamed skin. It is moisturizing, an antioxidant, improves circulation and will even out your skin tone to give you a healthy, clear moisturized skin.
Once the rice water has been allowed to ferment, its effects are enhanced with minerals, B vitamins, and vitamin E, along with traces of Pitera, which in recent years has been used in many anti aging creams and elixirs, due to its ability to help promote cell growth.
When used as skincare, Rice Water is believed to shrink pores, reduce fine lines, tighten, and brighten your skin.
We felt this was an important ingredient to include in our products, making it easy for you to benefit from the great properties this seemingly simple grain has to offer.
THAI RICE SOAP
We have replaced our usual purified water with Fermented Rice water to capture all the benefits in a easy to use bar.
Made with organic olive and coconut oils, it is the perfect bar for facial or body use and the sweet nutty rice smell has a warm relaxing effect on you.
MEDIEVAL CLEANSING GRAINS : RICE & ADZUKI
We wanted a perfect and natural way to clean your face with out all the added preservatives and chemicals that will sometimes strip your face of its natural and beneficial oils, so we expanded our Cleansing Grains line to include Rice.
We chose ground Adzuki Beans to help scrub and polish the dead skin cells off at the surface.
This small red bean has been used for over 1200 years by Japanese women as part of their skin care routine. It has been proven to cleanse, exfoliate and draw impurities from the skin.
These grains are great to use once or twice a week for a good scrub or you can also use the powder as a weekly mask by mixing one or two teaspoons, into your palm with some warm water and forming into a paste. Spread the desired consistency onto face, allowing it to dry before rinsing off with warm water.
THAI RICE BATH SOAK
The perfect relaxation after a long day, with the added benefit of all the goodness of rice.
The rice has been added to Organic Coconut Milk, Organic Chamomile, Rose, and Lavender, which will sooth and soften your entire body.
It is the perfect vegan stress reliever
that will benefit your skin as well as your well being
